Add a splash of spicy flavor to your coffee with some chai tea!
2 tea bags of chai tea
Milk or milk alternative
1 shot of espresso or 2-4oz strongly brewed coffee
Steep 2 bags of chai tea in a large mug with 8-10oz of hot water for up to 5 minutes. Leave at least 2-3inches of room at the top of your mug for milk and coffee.
Remove the tea bags and stir in honey and cinnamon (optional, to taste) and espresso or strongly brewed coffee. Top off with milk, cream, or milk alternatives and more cinnamon to taste. Enjoy!
- If you prefer your beverages extra hot, warm up milk in the microwave or with a milk steamer before adding to tea
- Swap milk for egg nog for extra seasonal flavor
