The Blueberry Revolution™ Coffee Story
A radiant future lies ahead, reforged with this Coffee of Elemental Genius. This coffee is sourced from family-owned farms organized around the Banko Gotiti Cooperative in the southern district of Gedeb, Ethiopia. The cooperative was established in 2012 as part of the Yirgacheffe Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union, an umbrella organization established in 2002 to support a sustainable coffee supply from cooperatives in the Gedeo ethnic region of Ethiopia. The beans are naturally processed on raised beds, covered in the afternoons to protect them from the sun. This gentle process allows sweet, fruity flavors to infuse the beans, resulting in a light, invigorating character. Join the Revolution!
Light Roast
We boldly admit that our Light Roast is on the darker-side of this description. Many coffees do not develop well at this stage, tending to be acidic or even astringent, and sometimes featuring strong grassy or vegetable tastes. However, a few coffees fare well with this roast level and have a bright, eye-opening sassiness to them with just a touch of sweet.
